Grecia graduated cum laude from the University of Texas Pan American with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minors in Chemistry and English. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
During law school, Grecia interned for the Honorable Judge Virginia M. Kendall at the U.S. District Court for Northern District of Illinois. She also interned at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and as a student attorney with the Civitas ChildLaw Center. Grecia was a research assistant to Professor Matthew Sag, and a contributor to his article: Internet Safe Harbors and the Transformation of Copyright Law. She was also the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, a Chicago IP Colloquium Student Fellow, and she made the Dean’s list.
Grecia was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Undergraduate Research Fellow, and the recipient of the Welch Foundation scholarship for her chemical research in anticancer agents. She currently serves as an Associate Board member of Gilda’s Club Chicago-an affiliate of the cancer support community.
