Darlene graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology & Law Studies. While at Marquette, Darlene interned at Project RETURN aiding incarcerated individuals make a positive and permanent return to the Milwaukee community. Prior to joining Ahlgren Law, she interned in Immigrant and Refugee Services at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as well as various immigration-based law firms in the Chicagoland area.
