Our immigration journey started out on a very positive note. My partner’s Adjustment of Status case was progressing smoothly; our Form I-130 was approved just three days after our second interview, and all that remained was approval of his Form I-485.

We patiently waited, expecting good news. Instead, we received a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) for his I-485, alleging that we had provided false information regarding a past DUI. We were completely shocked, confused, and overwhelmed.
As soon as I read the notice, I contacted several immigration attorneys. Unfortunately, many of them quoted fees that were far beyond what we could afford. Since we had successfully handled our entire immigration process on our own up to that point, those costs were discouraging.

Thankfully, a close friend recommended Ahlgren Law. I immediately called the office, explained our situation, and they promptly scheduled a consultation with attorney Nora Salgado.

The very next morning, Ms. Salgado called us. She carefully listened to our concerns, answered every question, explained our legal options, and reassured us that our case could be addressed. After reviewing our situation, she provided us with a fair and reasonable quote. Compared to the other firms we had contacted, her pricing was honest, transparent, and affordable. We felt confident in moving forward and signed the agreement that same day.

From that point forward, Alexia Loredo became the primary person handling our case, and I truly cannot thank her enough. She meticulously reviewed every document, prepared a thorough response to the Notice of Intent to Deny, ensured every detail was accurate, and guided us through each step of the process with professionalism and care. She was always available to answer our questions, responded promptly to emails, and kept us informed throughout the entire process.
During one of the most stressful periods of our lives, Alexia was patient, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. She never treated us like just another case. Instead, she made us feel heard, valued, and confident that she was doing everything possible to help us. Her dedication, attention to detail, and commitment gave us peace of mind when we needed it most.

I am also grateful to Ms. Nora Salgado for taking the time to evaluate our case, explain our options, and set us on the right path. However, I want to give special recognition to Alexia Loredo for the extraordinary amount of work, dedication, and care she invested in our case from beginning to end. She truly went above and beyond for us, and we will never forget everything she did.

The results speak for themselves. Just one day after Ahlgren Law submitted our response to the Notice of Intent to Deny, my partner’s Form I-485 was approved. We were overwhelmed with relief and gratitude. Their hard work, expertise, and attention to detail made all the difference in the outcome of our case.

I highly recommend Ahlgren Law to anyone facing an immigration matter. If you are fortunate enough to have Alexia Loredo working on your case, you will be in exceptional hands. Her professionalism, kindness, responsiveness, and unwavering dedication made all the difference during one of the most difficult experiences of our lives.

Thank you, Alexia, and thank you to everyone at Ahlgren Law. We are forever grateful for your hard work and support.
