Margaret graduated from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland with a BA in European Studies. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a certificate in Public Interest Law.
While in law school, Margaret was a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) intern at the National Immigrant Justice Center and a student attorney at Loyola’s Health Justice Project, a medical-legal partnership. She was also a member of their student-led Immigrants’ Rights Coalition. Following law school, Margaret interned as a Loyola Public Interest Fellow at LAF’s Immigrants and Workers’ Rights Group.
